New to finance
I love Spencer and Jamie! I was given the military money manual after graduating college and this has totally opened the door to personal finance and FIRE. As a 2nd Lt I’m on the way to maxing my TSP and have already maxed my Roth. I’ve sent non-military friends your book because it’s so good! This podcast is so soothing and helps me find new topics on what I need to educate myself on. Thank you for everything you do!

Best Mil Investing Podcast
I stumbled upon the Military Money Manuel via Spencer Reese’s website. Bought/read his book, and now listen to his podcast. Even if every episode doesn’t apply to my situation, I really appreciate his insight and perspective. After reading his book and listening to his podcast, I’ve automated most of my investing and have even picked up some of the other investing books he recommended. Great podcast for anyone trying to learn more about investing… especially while in the Military.

The Value Is Incredible
I am a veteran, Gold Star Spouse, and current GS employee. I know I’m not the target demographic but I have found TREMENDOUS value from starting this podcast last year. I have gone back and listened to old episodes and tell my friends, family, comets and coworkers about this podcast and what I’ve learned. I’ve purchased the TSP course and have recommended my young enlisted friends and family do the same.
One million thanks will never be enough to Jamie and Spencer. It is with my highest recommendation, unwavering confidence, and great enthusiasm that I recommend this podcast and content to military and even government employees across the spectrum.

I have been following Spencer’s advice since before podcasts were even a thing. Spencer, Jaime and the rest of their team do a wonderful job breaking down simple pathways to succeed financially. It’s not complicated, it’s not cosmic. Take the time to learn from them and you and your families will be better positioned for the future!

I’m a navy spouse and I’ve been learning about travel hacking but since my husband doesn’t just get to pick up and go with his demanding schedule it’s nice to know the hacks that are specific to military and hear it straight from these guys who are experienced

Great Resource
This podcast along with the Military Money Manual book and website are a great resource for military members. It’s great to see learn more about financial independence from a military focused perspective. As a commander I have been recommending all these resources to my Airmen!

Where have you been all of my life???
Let me start by saying that this podcast is on point. Great financial advice for military personnel whether you are just starting your military career or been in for awhile. By only disappointment is mot finding this podcast and website sooner in my career. I will definitely be sharing this to my soldiers.
P.S. i was listening one of the episodes where you mentioned not having a lot of reviews in Apple Podcasts so here i am!!!

A wealth of information!
This podcast is a wealth of information - both literally and figuratively. I first found it when searching for more information on how to use circuitous travel for our family’s upcoming PCS move. Their podcast on that topic alone was enough to prompt me to give a 5 star review, but then I started listening to some past podcasts and was so impressed with the knowledge they share for military members and their families. Hitting subscribe was an easy choice!
We’ve long been AMEX Platinum users and had only scratched the surface with that benefit. We’re now utilizing that card, and others, to a much higher potential thanks to Spencer and Jamie sharing their knowledge. Thanks guys!

Expert Advice
Love this podcast! Spencer was preaching this information back in 2010 when we were at pilot training. This information is perfect for all military members and I cant wait to read his book!

A must listen for all military service members and families!
This show provides such valuable advice for military members! I love how Jamie and Spencer take information from other sources and provide context for military families. There are a ton of other financial podcasts and even some focused on veteran finance, but this is by far the best for currently serving military members.

This Podcast is Setting Me Up for Success!
As a newly commissioned Lt heading down to pilot training this year, finding this podcast has been incredibly beneficial.
Spencer and Jamie are extremely well-versed in everything financially related with the military, making this my go-to resource for education on the topic! They delve into the nuances of military topics such as the TSP, JTR, and military credit card travel-hacking—just to name a few.
I now have a plan set in place before starting my Air Force career and appreciate the advice and tips both hosts offer. Looking forward to being a long-time listener of this podcast!
